1 Corinthians 15:1-6

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.  By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,  and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.  After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.

Good News! Brothers and sisters, eternal salvation can be yours. Believe and follow the word of God. Christ’s death for our sins, his burial, his rising from the grave on the third day, and his return and appearance are all real. What a statement of faith, love and hope. Christ’s resurrection has provided a path for Salvation for each of us. Only through Christ can eternal salvation be obtained. All glory and praise to our Lord God to allow us to spend eternity with him in Paradise. Lord, we ask for the Holy Spirit to be ever present in our journey while here on earth to guide and encourage us on our individual path toward Salvation.

Today, Lord, on this happy day, let us give you all praise. Let our hearts swell with the joy of being completely and irrevocably loved, forgiven, and graced with the promise of eternal life. Thank you for our savior, Jesus Christ, who gives us hope in our living, today and for all our tomorrows. Let us offer you undivided hearts, through Christ, to the glory of your name! Amen.
