2 Corinthians 12:8-9

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Do not ask God to remove your weaknesses. For the Lord will support our weaknesses and make us stronger through his grace and almighty power. Do not be ashamed to proclaim your weaknesses – declaring them and embracing them invites the Lord’s power upon you. There is no shame in admitting that we are not perfect, for only the Lord is perfection.

Almighty, I pray that those with debilitating weaknesses receive your love and healing. For although it is right to acknowledge our weaknesses, we need your spiritual guidance to help us through difficult times when we alone cannot find the needed strength. The promise of your everlasting love provides hope for those that lack strength. Those that believe and invite your power into their hearts shall share an eternal salvation by your side.
