Isaiah 41:9-10

I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. 10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

According to sources on the internet the Bible states “Fear not” or “do not fear” 365 times. Hmm, that is a familiar number. Coincidence? I think not.

No matter what we face each day we need to hold fast to the fact that we are never alone. There is no need to be discouraged or fearful. We face uncertain times, but what is uncertain to an all-knowing God? God is the source of my strength and salvation. Because of His love I will survive beyond this limited lifetime into a perfect eternity. What is there to fear?

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your gift of salvation through Jesus Christ and for you leading through the Holy Spirit. Help me to remember you called me to serve you, and while you allow me to petition my desires, you are not here to serve me. You know what is best for me better than I do. Thank you for strength and power which transcends human understanding. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen
