Isaiah 40:28-31

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

No matter what comes our way, daily problems, emergencies, sickness, we can be strong in the Lord! All of us, (even the happiest of humans) can grow tired and weak. But if we have hope in God, we can be strong again. I love having the picture of an eagle soaring through the sky.

Dear God, please, when we get bogged down with life’s trials, give us the strength to be eagles and soar! Thank you for helping us in our daily walk. We can only imagine your power and your glory. Thank you for creating everything! We are infinitely smaller than You, but help us to depend on You. We love You Lord! Amen!
