John 3:14-18

Jesus said to Nicodemus “And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”

Wow!!! What a scripture!!! I love this one. True love is something that is indescribable, it fills your whole heart and soul. When my first child was born it was the most amazing feeling in the world I knew I couldn’t love anything or anyone this much ever. Then I met God; I don’t think I’ll ever realize how much He loves me. To give up your first and only son for all of us is overwhelming.

Thank you, God, for the gifts you have given us and thank you for sacrificing Your son for us. We can never express the joy of being completely and utterly loved by you. To know you is to be transformed. Thank you for Jesus Christ our savior. Amen.
